Lithuanian Emigration Institute publishes a continuous release of Egzodo archyvas (Emigration archive), where the most important, interesting historical emigration material available at the Institute and other Lithuanian and foreign archives could be founded. Emigration archival material is published in conjunction with a qualified exploration and detailed comments.

T.1. Antano Smetonos korespondencija 1940-
This book publishes the Lithuanian President Antanas Smetona’s (1874-1944) exile period (withdrawal from Lithuania in 1940 to Smetona’s death in 1944) correspondence with Lithuanian diplomats, famous Lithuanian-American public figures, politicians in the United States. Documents are taken from Bronius Kviklys’ collections stored in the Lithuanian Emigration Institute, and published for the first time.

The book consists of two parts: a scientific study, which presents Lithuanian literary life in Western Germany, the analysis of Lithuanian Writers' Society in exile activities, cultural press, and literary writers of poetry. In the second part of the book archival documents are added: unpublished documents and writers' letters of the Writers of Lithuanian Exiles Society, revealing the details of cultural life in German DP camps.

The publication contains Meeting Minutes of the meetings in Bern (Switzerland), 1946 and in Paris (France), 1947 of the Lithuanian Diplomatic Service and the Supreme Lithuanian Liberation Committee. First released documents reveal the two major political organizations in exile (LDT-VLIK) between meetings, discussion and possible solution is an important historical material in Lithuanian diaspora history researchers. |

The Book publishes the famous Lithuanian public figure and politician Juozas Gabrys-Paršaitis’ (1880-1951) memories. Memories reveals J. Gabrys’ political activities during the First World War, and presents him as a controversial personality.

The Book publishes the papers (conference, congress reports, circulars, correspondence), revealing one of the most important Lithuanian ideological organizations – Ateitis Federation – the development and operation of the twentieth century in exile 5–7 decades. Documents were collected from the Lithuanian-American Culture Archive in Putnam, Lithuanian Research and Studies Center in Chicago and the Lithuanian Emigration Institute, and are published for the first time.
